Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you create an account, upload videos, or contact us for support. This includes your name, email address, and any video content you choose to upload. If you buy a paid plan, our payment processor Stripe collects and stores your card details and billing address. We keep your plan, subscription, invoice and payment status, and a record of your plan usage (analysis minutes, analyses, storage and narration). We never receive your full card number.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to: provide, maintain, and improve our services; process and analyze your video content using AI; generate statistics and insights about your BJJ performance; send you technical notices and support messages; and respond to your comments and questions.

Video Content and AI Processing

Videos you upload are processed by our AI systems (powered by Google Gemini) to detect techniques, positions, and events. This analysis is performed to provide you with match insights and statistics. Your videos are stored securely and are not shared with third parties unless you explicitly choose to make them public.

Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and security practices. We use Supabase for authentication and database storage, and AWS S3 for video storage. Billing and subscription records are kept in AWS DynamoDB. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information.

Payment Data Retention

We keep subscription, invoice, payment and usage records for as long as needed for accounting, tax and legal obligations, including after you cancel. Records of payment-provider notifications are deleted after 90 days. We do not store card numbers.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with: third parties performing services on our behalf (such as cloud hosting providers, and Stripe for payment processing, tax calculation and receipts); law enforcement when required by law; and other users only when you explicitly choose to share content publicly.

Your Rights

You have the right to: access and receive a copy of your personal data; request correction of inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to processing of your data; and export your data in a portable format. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@bjjvision.com.

Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising purposes. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but this may affect your ability to use certain features.

Children's Privacy

BJJ Vision is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
